New Member Class

Pastor Gene will begin a new member class at Clarendon UMC on Sunday, January 11 at 9:45 – 10:45 in the parlor. This class, which will run for three weeks, is for those who are considering becoming a part of the Clarendon family and would like more information about what that means. Mark - The Beginning of the Gospel
January 13th - March 17th, 2009 :: 7am, 12pm, and 7pm
Pastor Gene will lead a 10-week bible study on the Gospel of Mark. Three classes will be offered each Tuesday beginning January 13th at , 7:00 am, 12:00 noon, and 7:00 pm for one hour each.. All three will cover the same material each week. John Mark's simple gospel allows us to glimpse the succinct account of Jesus ministry through the eyes of Peter as recorded by John Mark. Class will begin on Tuesday, January 13th in room 206 next to the office. Sign up by calling the church off (703) 527-8574.
Believing God by Beth Moore
January 26th - March 30th, 2009
This is a 10-week women's study with three meeting times, Monday at 9:30 am (with childcare) and 7:30 pm, and Wednesday 11:30 – 1:00 on. All will be held in the Youth Room. Based on Isaiah 43:10, Believing God: Experiencing a Fresh Explosion of Faith explores what it means to not only believe in God but to believe Him.
