Saturday, May 19, 2012 :: 1-4pm
Clarendon United Methodist Church (CUMC) will come together with Methodists all over the world for a day of Community Service. We will partner with Stop Hunger Now (SHN), an international hunger relief agency that provides food around the world for people in need. Volunteers will be preparing 10,000 bags of rice, and seasonings that will then be shipped to areas of food shortage. We invite everyone members, friends and neighbors of all ages to join us in Corry social hall to make a difference.

For more information, contact Jane Dixon at jdixon580@aol.com or 703- 465-0341

(Note: If you are not able to come, but want to help in some way, you can make a donation which will help cover the cost of the bags. We are paying .25 per bag, so $2500 for the 10,000. Make checks payable to CUMC - Stop Hunger Now.
