Reverend Adam Hansford
Clarendon UMC Youth Director

A native Washingtonian, he currently matriculates at Wesley theological Seminary in the District of Columbia, where he is a candidate for a Master of Divinity.
For more than 20 years Rev. Hansford has ministered to youth nationally and throughout Central America. He also ministers to college and professional athletic teams throughout the USA. Over the pass 10 years, he has spoken to over 20,000 youth on topics ranging from character building, overcoming adversity, and personal fitness for life to drug prevention and violence among youth. He has served as a guest speaker with Youth for Christ, and Youth for Tomorrow.
Rev. Hansford is a 1994 graduate of the University of the District of Columbia (UDC), where he earned a B.A. in Liberal Arts. At UDC, he was captain of the indoor and outdoor track and field teams and received national honors as an all-American. He also attended Southern University in Houston, Texas, and was one of the founders of a non-denominational Bible Life Christian Fellowship Ministry, which is still in existence today and has grown to be a major organization. He founded the Alpha and Omega Christian Fellowship with a mission to pray, teach, preach and lead as many students to Christ as possible.
