Lisa Gibbs Smith
Children's and Youth Choirs
Lisa Gibbs Smith, Director of the Children's and Youth Choirs, is a native Washingtonian. She received her training at Oberlin Conservatory and Boston University in bassoon and piano. After serving five years as music teacher at Pinecrest School in Annandale, she came to Clarendon in 1999 as director of the Youth and Children's Choirs, and took over Handbell Choir duties in 2001. Lisa has served as resident and substitute pianist at several churches in the DC area. She is an active accompanist and director.
