Arise! Informal Worship Service

8:30 a.m. Sundays

You ask, just what is the Arise! service? The Arise! service is an early and energetic worship service which begins at 8:30 a.m. each Sunday in the Sanctuary.

The Clarendon Praise Band provides the music, which is a blend of traditional Methodist hymns and contemporary Christian music with a touch of the blues mixed in. The band consists of Michael Bannach—guitar; Tom Kutsch—bass guitar; John Harrison—guitar; George May—drums; Laura Edelbrock—piano; and vocalists Laura Lewis, Cathy Betts and Marci Schiller. We always invite other musicians to participate.

Our congregation participates in the service by singing along or expressing their praises and prayer concerns for the week. We celebrate communion weekly. The Arise! congregation enjoys a real pick-up each Sunday morning, and has the rest of the day to celebrate living. Please join us!

Sunday Morning Fellowship

Please join us this Sunday, and every Sunday, in the Social Hall after the 8:30 a.m. service for a time of fellowship and refreshments.

Child Care

Child care is offered every Sunday from 8:30 to 12:30 as well for many other church activities . Infants and toddlers are always welcome in the nursery.
