Men's Group

Clarendon's men's group was reborn in January 2007. Although the men of Clarendon UMC have always been very active and involved in the life of the church, they've done so in a sort of ad hoc basis in recent years. Now we've begun getting together regularly with the intention of building a strong group of men to serve God, our community, and each other. It's an open group and we would love to have you join us!

The men's group meets each Saturday at Murky Coffee in Clarendon (across from the Silver Diner on Wilson Blvd.). Join us at 7:30 am in the back room for coffee, fellowship, song, prayers and a brief talk.

Below is a list of questions that speak to our accountability.

Worship

  • Did you go to church?
  • Did you pray?

Instruction

  • Did you read your Bible?

Fellowship

  • Did you have meaningful, one-on-one conversation with your wife?
  • Did you have quality, one-on-one time with each of your children?

Evangelism

  • Did you invite someone to church, or to Sunday School, or to the Men's Group?

Service

  • Did you help out a friend or a neighbor?
  • Did you exercise?
