Purpose of United Methodist Women

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God, and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
United Methodist Women are organized for global mission but also do many wonderful works throughout the church and community, including
- Providing school supplies and volunteering at local schools
- Putting together health kits for UMCOR
- Collecting Campbell's soup labels for Henry Fork Mission
- Collecting and sending gloves, hats, and scarves to Heart and Hand
- Preparing and delivering meals to families of newborn babies
- Providing juice for Doorways Shelter
- and many more...
